Ice cream season is in full swing around here. We live in the desert and that means lots of ice cream in the summer. Use an ice cream cone template to get in the summer spirit with ice cream crafting. These templates are great for kids of all ages!
These free printables can be used for ice cream coloring pages, ice cream party crafts, summer camp crafts, or a simple craft with kids. I will give a few craft ideas at the end of this post. They are great for a pretend play ice cream shop with kids too!
You can use the templates for a diy ice cream cone garland for an ice cream party or ice cream bar.

The templates are all for personal use, non-commercial use, but feel free to print them out multiple times. Once you have the ice cream cone shapes you want to use it is time to print. Print on a home printer or at a local print shop. You can print on printer paper, white cardstock paper, or colorful cardstock paper that is 8.5×11″ size.
The templates come in a variety of shapes and sizes for all different ice cream crafts. From a simple scoop and cone. To soft serve and a more detailed cone. You can use different cones and ice cream scoops to mix and match making different ice cream patterns.
The first ice cream cone is a simple cake cone without any details.
The next cone is a cake cone with lines for some detail. There is a black and white coloring version and one with a variety of colors. It also comes in a large, medium, and small size.
Next up are waffle cones! The first waffle cone just has the outline for crafting or coloring. The second waffle cone has more detail. Then there is a third option with lines going only one way. Pick your favorite to use or use all three! The smaller color options are great to go with the colorful ice cream cones for a fun craft.
Next are printable ice cream templates with a bunch of ice cream scoops. These come blank with just the outline and also with a variety of colors. If you want to color in the scoops or print them on colorful cardstock paper use the first template.If you want them already in different colors use the second template. You can have one scoop of ice cream or a bunch.
If you are looking for soft serve ice cream this next template is for you! Are you more of a traditional ice cream person or soft serve? I love them both and you don’t have to choose with these ice cream crafts have some of each. This one also comes in different colors for different flavors of ice cream including chocolate, vanilla, grape, and strawberry!
Up next are some ice cream toppings. All ice cream is better with toppings. Add paper sprinkles, cherry, chocolate syrup, or caramel syrup. Of course you will need a cherry on top! There is an option to color in and one that is already in color. It is such a fun craft to make your own ice cream cones.
You can use these templates in different ways for printable activities and crafts. Here are a few examples of how the ice cream cones can look all put together.
These ice cream cones are coloring pages in a variety of sizes. These can be used just for coloring pages and also for crafts. The medium size is great for making garlands and the small size is perfect for kids crafts.
This one is fun to draw different toppings on top of the ice cream cone.
Next up is the soft serve ice cream. These ice cream cones are a fun different style.
Make puffy paint ice cream scoops on the cones! This will look fluffy like real ice cream. You just need glue, shaving cream, and food coloring to make your own puffy paint. Add real sprinkles on top for fun.
Use ice cream cones to stamp ice cream scoops on top of the ice cream cones. Dip the circular top of the ice cream cone in paint. Then press it on top of the ice cream cone template for ice cream scoops.
Use the ice cream scoop and cone to trace on different colors of construction paper. Kids can pick their colors they want to use then glue it on a piece of paper for the background. Then add googley eyes and a red pom pom for the cherry on top.
Ripped paper craft. Add small pieces of ripped paper or tissue paper to the ice cream printables. This activity works on fine motor skills for kids and is super easy to make with little mess.
Paper plate ice cream craft. Make the scoops out of paper plates and then add the cone templates to the bottom with glue.

You can make an easy ice cream craft with just a few craft supplies including colorful paper, pom poms, paints, crayons, and yarn for sprinkles.
