The Meath County Development Plan sets out a vision and an overall strategy for the proper planning and sustainable development of County Meath for a six-year period.
It also sets out guiding policies and objectives for the development of County Meath in terms of physical growth and renewal, economic, social and cultural activity, and environmental protection and enhancement.
Please note that the original Meath County Development Plan 2021-2027 (adopted on 22nd September, 2021) has been superseded by the Consolidated version of the Meath County Development Plan 2021-2027 (incl. Variations 1 & 2) adopted on the 13th May 2024.
Please note that pursuant to Section 13 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) that Meath County Council prepared Variation No. 1 and Variation No. 2 to the Meath County Development Plan 2021-2027 (adopted on the 13th May, 2024)
